The Intercultural Development Inventory® measures intercultural development for individuals along the Intercultural Development Continuum (IDC TM). The IDI® provides baseline information about your intercultural development to facilitate self-awareness about your orientation to, and engagement with, cultural differences and similarities. Increasing self-awareness is fundamental for developing a plan to improve your capability with bridging cultural differences appropriately and effectively.
Sights on Success Consulting offers the IDI® as a prerequisite and entry point for participation in other service offerings.
After taking the IDI online, you will attend a debrief session in person where the results of the assessment are shared and clarified. Based on the results, you can select from a number of options to move forward.
Leadership coaching focuses on enhancing performance and impact for leaders at all levels. It is an individualized and guided process that builds a leader’s capability to achieve short and long-term organizational goals.
In terms of building capability with cultural differences, leadership coaching helps you to design an intercultural development plan based on your IDI® developmental profile or assessment results, interests, and priorities. It then supports you in discovering solutions and following through on achieving your objectives. Packages will meet your needs and accommodate your schedule.
The Cross-Cultural Sharing Circle, as designed by Sights on Success Consulting (copyright, 2019), is a powerful learning and development tool. Participants build on their knowledge of cultural differences in a personalized and constructive environment. Participants increase self-awareness, develop key attitudes like humility and empathy, and learn key skills such as listening – all necessary for improving the ability to bridge cultural differences. Researched-based presentations are offered on topics related to improving capability with cultural differences. Sights on Success Consulting has many years of experience giving high-quality presentations to audiences including specific interest groups and at professional development conferences. Presentations will vary in length according to the organization’s time constraints. Example of topics are: “Understanding the Intercultural Development Inventory”, “Types of Cultural Differences”, “What is Intercultural Competence?”.
The Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory® measures your core or authentic approach for resolving conflicts. It helps you understand your own and other people’s approaches for resolving conflicts in order to make the necessary adaptations.
