Sights on Success Consulting was established in 2016 to provide Leadership Development in Intercultural Competence. Intercultural Competence is the capability to shift cultural perspective and appropriately adapt behaviour to cultural differences and commonalities (Hammer, 2009). Intercultural Competence is not innate. It needs to be developed if organizations are to reach and match their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Truth and Reconciliation aspirations and goals.
With this in mind, we have designed and facilitated Intercultural Development Programs in the form of confidential assessment and feedback workshops, leadership coaching programs, and team building workshops. Our clients include management teams working in provincial and municipal government organizations and non-profit agencies, and individuals working in the health care and educational sectors. We have also designed and facilitated courses in Intercultural Competence Development for educational institutions.
We have presented at conferences and webinars for a variety of professional and business associations and community-based organizations. We publish a blog on this website and some of our articles have been published online by agencies that support the business and non-profit sector. In addition, we compose and distribute a newsletter called Intercultural Savvy to our business and client network once a month on intercultural competence development topics and learning events. Our purpose is to promote Intercultural Competence as a key capability and tool for advancing DEIA and Truth and Reconciliation in organizations for business, professional, and career development, and for driving social justice in the wider community.
We have also shared our expertise with corporations that develop free mental health and wellness resources for employers.
Last, but not least, since 2017, we have offered free sessions of one of our team building workshops, the Intercultural Sharing Circle. We invite individuals from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds to build and give back to community through Leadership Development in Intercultural Competence.

Angeline Chia, of Sights on Success Consulting, supported an Intercultural Competence assessment with a group of individuals at the City of Saskatoon. The assessment was well done. Angeline provided concrete actions and helpful insights for us to use the information gained to enhance Intercultural Competences moving forward. Angeline is an excellent discussion facilitator, has a wealth of knowledge on Intercultural Competence, and always comes to sessions organized and prepared. I would highly recommend her services to other organizations.
