I loved the Introduction to Intercultural Competence as a community building tool by Angeline Chia. The activities that she asked us to do in the class about our cultural influences, values, and beliefs really made me realize and helped me understand better the different aspects of our lives and the views and perspectives of other people. It increased my self-awareness and understanding about enhancing skills to navigate cultural diversity.
Community Leader/Participant in Community Capacity Building Program, Booth University College
I was a part of Angeline’s Intercultural Sharing Circle in October 2021. I was so impressed by the way she led the group to discuss different emotions such as empathy and trust. It was a wonderful experience. This spring, Angeline led out in several classes on Intercultural Competence that I coordinated for the Community Capacity Building Program. Our students learned so much! Thank you, Angeline.
